Closing in on old age at an alarming rate; Retired; Grandkids - 5 ; Happily married to the same wonderful lady for 37+ years; believe that the Lord sent His son to save my sorry butt and have no fear the new day since (even with Obama in office).
Knifemaking, bladesmithing especially, has afforded me the chance to make some of the finest friends I am privaleged to know.

Retired but working parttime as an Environmental Engineering Consultant, Registered Forester (non-practicing) Certified Instrumentation tech (ISA) and Class II Wastewater Operations and Lab, Active Master Artist/Instructor with Georgia Council for the Arts Traditional Arts Apprenticeship program, Charter member and past President of the Georgia Custom Knivemakers' Guild, Conduct two (spring and fall) Trackrock Hammer-ins each year in Blairsville, GA.

Been making knives, scrimshanding, lapidary, carving, etc. for over 50 years. Bladesmithing has become my focus since '95. Fish anytime, anywhere- prefer to use fly rod. Love to do almost anything out doors - avid hunter until it got to crowded out there. Still enjoy a good muzzleloader squirrel hunt when possible
